Founder’s Message
Dear Friends, Supporters, and Well-Wishers,
It gives me immense pride and heartfelt satisfaction to share the journey of One Star Development Society (OSDS) — an organization founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to serve the underserved and empower the most vulnerable sections of society.
From the very beginning, our mission has been to uplift those who are socially, economically, educationally, and medically deprived — particularly people living below the poverty line, women in distress, neglected elderly, vulnerable children, tribal communities, transgender individuals, and persons with disabilities.
We strongly believe that development is meaningful only when it reaches the last person in society. Rural and remote communities often struggle with lack of awareness, limited access to healthcare, unemployment, social discrimination, and poverty. OSDS was established to bridge this gap through structured programs in education, skill development, healthcare, rehabilitation, and livelihood promotion.
Over the years, with the continuous support of government departments, partners, donors, volunteers, and community members, we have successfully implemented numerous welfare initiatives — including vocational training centres, shelter homes, senior citizen care, women protection services, mobile medical units, child welfare programs, and self-help group formations.
Our approach has always been community-centered, transparent, and inclusive. We do not merely provide services — we build confidence, restore dignity, and create opportunities for sustainable growth.
I extend my deepest gratitude to all our supporters, stakeholders, staff members, volunteers, and beneficiaries who have contributed to making our initiatives impactful and meaningful. Your trust and encouragement inspire us to work harder every day.
