About Us

One Star Development Society (OSDS) is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) established with a vision to promote sustainable development and social justice among marginalized, vulnerable, and economically weaker communities.

Registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, OSDS has been actively working in Dhubri District and other parts of Assam to uplift disadvantaged sections including SC, ST, OBC, MOBC, tribal communities, women, children, elderly persons, transgender individuals, persons with disabilities, and economically backward families.

Our organization believes that true development must reach the grassroots level — especially those living below the poverty line who are deprived socially, economically, educationally, and medically.
